Salame di Cioccolato- Chocolate salami

Chocolate salami. Salami but sweet.

This is one of the easiest sweets you can make at home and be sure that everyone will love it.

You can make just with chocolate and biscuits or if you like a richer version you can add some walnuts, pinenuts or pistachios.

It is also fun to make with kids as you can involve them in the preparation and make them wait until it will be ready to eat!




Ingredients


270 gr of dark chocolate to melt

180 gr of dry biscuits like digestive or rich tea

160 gr of butter at room temperature

40 gr of almonds or nuts

60 gr of icing sugar


Method


Melt your chocolate at bain marie and let cool it down. In the meantime reduce your biscuits in small pieces with your hands or with the help of a rolling pin.

Take your butter and sugar and mix them with the help of a hand mixer until it becomes a soft mixture. Add now the melted chocolate and stir with a spatula. Add now the biscuits and the nuts you prefer.

Now cut a large piece of kitchen paper and put the mixture in it shaping it like a salami.

Roll up the paper around it, close it at both ends like a candy and place in the fridge for 4 hours or until firm.
